There is not a company in today’s industrial environment that has the time to organise and implement a leakage detection program without outside help. Just as you outsource a variety of services, more or less complex, leakage detection is simply more cost effective to outsource. It is easy to forget that a survey - can reveal leakages that cost € 300-500 per day or more. With this in mind it becomes obvious that the time to complete the total project from the planning stage until the leakages actually are repaired is very much the deciding factor in the evaluation. The LeekSeek system will reduce project time by several months to within a month. This saving in project time translates directly to the bottom line and is easily calculated once the daily cost of leakages is established.

For many companies it is the potential savings in labour that is the deciding factor. However, those savings are likely to disappear when you include the daily leakage cost in the equation. Labour actually has little impact on the end result. In most projects labour represents less than 10% and parts 5% of the total project cost. A further reduction in labour and parts has little significance. It is the actual reduction of the leakage cost that determines the financial end result. Failing to find even a small number of leakages has considerably greater financial impact on the end result. If you think it is fair to assume that LeekSeek would discover just a few additional leakages, then that in itself is will cover the total survey cost.

Detecting leakages does not save money. To save money they have to be repaired. This may be appear obvious but its where most companies go wrong. By underestimating the repair question and not realising the logistical issues associated with the repair of hundreds, sometimes thousands of leakages, the repair process will rarely get completed.

If the logistical process is addressed before the actual survey, you have significantly increased your chances of success. Leakages cost money every minute and hour of the year. That is why the LeekSeek™ system is completely geared towards minimizing the time from discovery of the leakage to the actual repair of it.

The central part of the LeekSeek™ concept is the Computer Aided Leakage Management (C.A.L.M™) system. It is a web based system for- the reporting, -logistics of repair, - cost monitoring and analysis. It has proven to reduce project time by several months. The reduction in project time translates directly to your bottom line.

The LeekSeek Group have more than 3.000 documented leakage detection projects. That provides us with a wide experience of the causes and necessary preventive measures to reduce the leakage level in both the short and long term. What ever your industry may be, chances are that we have done surveys in that environment and have encountered your issues before. We have documentation on what works and what doesn’t in almost every conceivable environment. Whether you are a paper mill-, food industry-, pharmaceutical- or engineering company you are benefiting from years of experience and can avoid the mistakes that others have made. Perhaps more importantly, we know which results that are possible to achieve and how your company rates against others in your industry.

The LeekSeek™ Group cannot afford to use anything but the best technology for leakage detection. A single missed leakage is simply too valuable. Today there are numerous brands of ultra-sonic equipment available with varying quality. That is why we regularly test the performance of most types of ultra-sonic equipment and monitor product developments closely. We have chosen to use DND™ technology. It is a patented technology and is the most advanced ultra-sonic equipment available. In short, it finds more leakages in less time which reduces project time and improves results. It can be used for the leakage detection of any pressurized gas or media, even vacuum. It allows leakage detection in very loud environments without interference. That means we are able do leakage detection during production hours when all equipment is running.
